The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
