The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
