Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the crash? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
