The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
