The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
