The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
