The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
