The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 Raging Fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
