The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
