The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
