The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
