The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
