The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A burning fire. 11
