The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
