The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
