The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A flaming fire! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
