Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 Raging Fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
