The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 Raging Fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
