The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
