The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
