The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
