The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
