The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
