The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
