In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Striking? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
