The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A burning fire. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
