The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
