Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
