Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 until you come to the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
