Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 until you visit the graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
