Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
