Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
