Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
