Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
