Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
