Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You will be shown hell 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
