Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
