Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 until you visit the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
