Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
