Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
