Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
