Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 until you reach your graves. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 You will be shown hell 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
