Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things) 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8
