Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
