Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You will be shown hell 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8
