Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 till you reached the grave. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
