Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
