Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 You shall know. 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). 8

Almighty God's Truth.
