Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
