Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
